Local pets get in the St. Patrick spirit

Local News

St. Patrick’s Day may have passed but the celebrations are still rocking on in Western New York… and humans aren’t the only ones cashing in on the fun.

On Sunday, the PetSaver location in Greece hosted a shamrock themed pet photo shoot.

“With the cold weather in Rochester and St. Patrick’s Day being such a fun event we wanted to make something that was family friendly and pet friendly,” said PetSaver Marketing Manager, Torrel Arnold.

Mark Trimmer said when he saw the flyer, he knew his dogs would love it.

“Our dogs love it here. It’s just nice to be able to bring them to a safe place,” said Trimmer, “If you’re outside or at a parade, you don’t know with the weather conditions or how they’ll react to all the different people.”

Each session featured fun props and backdrops that aligned with the holiday-theme.

“We print the photo right here then you get to leave with a nice clip and photo so you don’t worry and wait for a print,” Arnold continued.

The PetSaver location in Webster is hosting an Easter pet photo fundraiser on Saturday, March 24. It’s from noon to 3 p.m. Donations support the Rochester Animal Services.
