Some local girls decided to spend one of their last days of summer vacation raising money for a cause.
Paige and Addison Earl, along with their mom’s help, decided to sell lemonade on their front lawn all day.
They’re donating the money to two different causes: Meg’s Gift, which raises money for mental illness in the Rochester area and a local woman with brain cancer.
“I love it,” said their mom Julie Earl. “It’s the way it should be. With everything going on in this world today, it’s nice to have something refreshing like this. “
The girls raised more than $150 in just a few hours.
Julie says they may be out a few more times this week if it’s a success.
