A local businessman says his fight with KFC is far from over.

Back in April, KFC accused Brian Mastrosimone of copyright infringement for using ‘Finger Lakin’ Good.’ KFC, who uses the slogan ‘Finger Lickin’ Good,’ says the tagline would impact their image and cost them revenue.

Last month, Mastrosimone offered to withdraw two trademark applications — for  ‘Finger Lakin’ Good’ and ‘Finger Laking Good’ — if KFC allowed him to use the name on clothing and beer from his new craft brewery.

KFC rejected Mastrosimone’s offer.

Still, Mastrosimone is determined to expand his real estate business throughout the Finger Lakes by creating a farm-to-table venue, Lincoln Hill Farms, and a craft brewery, Finger Lakin’ Good, in Canandaigua.

To raise money for the on-going legal battle, the Lincoln Hill Farms Finger Lakin’ Fall Fest will take place on Oct. 14 at 3792 State Route 247 in Gorham.
