The United Christian Leadership Ministry partnered with local law enforcement agencies to host the third Greater Rochester Regional Police Community Relations Summit.

Leaders discussed solutions for increasing mutual understandings between groups, hoping this will lead to an improvement in relations between the police and community.

“We believe it’s important that we translate this comrade that we’re building,” said Pauline McCleary of the United Christian Leadership Ministry. “This relationship that we’re building among us — take it to the community, to take it to the churches where we have the opportunity to show that it is possible and that it can happen, and that it will happen.”

The fourth Police Community Relations Summit is expected to take place sometime next year.
