ROCHESTER, N.Y.N (WROC) — Two men were hospitalized after a shooting in Rochester on Sunday according to police.
Officers were in the area of Hawley Street around 5:30 p.m. when they heard gunshots. Two men were shot and they found a car on the sidewalk.
Police said the men were found inside a car on Hawley Street but, it is not clear if they were shot while inside the car or on the street.
The two victims are both 21-years-old. They were both taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where one is in critical conditions, the other is in stable condition.
“We are talking to people and with any other incident we are knocking on doors, checking cameras to find who did it,” said Captain Nathan Cornell of the Rochester Police Department.
According to RPD, no one is in custody at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
