Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio has been found not guilty of violating conditions of her sentencing.
Judge Stephen Aronson made the favorable ruling Monday afternoon, putting to end weeks of allegations and hearings. Aronson also restored Astacio’s driver’s license.
Aronson ruled there was not enough evidence to prove Astacio was drinking at a restaurant or during a party shared on social media. He also cited a jurisdictional issue in throwing out accusations she violated rules regarding her interlock device.
Astacio was convicted of drunk driving last year. She’s been suspended from the bench, but continues to receive her salary.
