JROTC ready to perform during Bills opening ceremony

Local News

JROTC members from the Leadership Academy for Young Men in Rochester are getting ready to take the national stage.

The color guard has been invited to perform during the opening ceremony of the Buffalo Bills final pre-season game Thursday.

They spent today practicing and one flag bearer took a moment to tell us what the opportunity means to him.

“To have the privilege to present the colors to thousands and thousands of people it warms my heart because this is a great country, we do have soldiers that fight for us, and it’s just amazing,” said James Myles.

This will be the third NFL game that the JROTC has participated in. They will take the field in Orchard Park at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
