The 90s are back today! After starting in the 50s this morning, we will rise very quickly into the 80s by lunchtime, and low 90s this afternoon. Even lakeshore communities will be quite warm today with highs lakeside in the upper 80s.
Humidity stays low for 1 more day before dew points rise overnight with a warm front. This will also set off a few showers or a thundery downpour by dawn Wednesday. That will set the stage for a sultry stretch of weather through the end of the week with temperatures near 90 and dew points in the upper 60s and even low 70s at times.
This soupy air will be accompanied by some periods of rain and storms straight through the weekend and possibly early next week as a front stalls over the area.
