Dozens of veterans flew on Honor Flight this weekend and Sunday they arrived back to Rochester. This was the eleventh year Honor Flight Rochester has held these flights.
Hundreds attended to cheer the 57 veterans as they arrived at Rochester International Airport.
Thanks to Honor Flight Rochester, the veterans flew to Washington D.C. on Saturday morning to visit the memorials in their honor.
The veterans served in World War II, The Korean War, The Vietnam War, and the Cold War.
Honor Flight Rochester has flown roughly 3,100 veterans to Washington D.C. free of charge.
