Honor Flight Rochester welcomed home sixty veterans at the Greater Rochester International Airport on Sunday.

This is the largest number of veterans taken on a single Rochester mission to visit Washington D.C.

The sixty veterans, including fifty-nine men and one woman, served their country in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.

Rochester is one of the 130 established “hubs” in the National Honor Flight Network. To date, Honor Flight Rochester has escorted over two thousand veterans.
