Abagail Hernandez, the Rochester student accused of making threats against East High, pleaded not guilty to charges in court on Thursday.
We’re told Hernandez, who is in the country under DACA, will be held locally in Monroe County Jail, instead of in ICE custody, so she can meet with her attorney.
Hernandez was arrested in February accused of using a fake account to threaten a shooting on the East High Facebook page.
Police say they traced the threats back to her cell phone and home internet service. At her home, police also say they found a firearm. However, her father says Hernandez doesn’t have the mental capabilities to carry out what she is accused of.
Hernandez’s arrest came in the days after the mass shooting in Parkland.
