Louis Restivo appeared in court for his arraignment Thursday morning for his role in the fatal crash in Mendon over the summer.

Restivo, 47, of Henrietta, was indicted by a grand jury earlier this month on vehicular manslaughter and DWI charges for a crash that killed a mother of two back in July.

Thursday, Restivo pled not guilty to those charges.

The vehicular manslaughter count is due to Restivo’s DWAI conviction in the past 10 years.

On July 17, 26-year-old Hannah Kline was killed when Restvio turned in front of a dump truck in Mendon, causing the dump truck to crash into Kline’s car.

Aaron Bassage, the dump truck driver, was ticketed for operating out of class, operating out of restrictions, and brakes out of service.

Restivo will appear in court on February 15.
