Henrietta Ambulance received an international accreditation on Wednesday.
They’ve been recognized by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services, or CAAS.
It’s an honor that only 170 agencies have received in North America.
“Although we are able to wear our new CAAS pins on our uniform and have new stickers on our ambulances, that’s not what matters,” said Chris Murtaugh, Public Information Officer for Henrietta Ambulance. “What does matter is that we did what we had to do to ensure that all we do is in the best interest of our patients and the residents of the town.”
Henrietta Ambulance is now one of only five ambulance services that are recognized by CAAS in the state.
