GiGi’s Playhouse held one of Rochester’s biggest fundraisers of the year on Saturday evening at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Hundreds in the Rochester community joined GiGi’s founder Nancy Gianni at the 4th annual Gala in Rochester.
This year’s theme was the Roaring 20’s. GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center held this year’s gala.
The night was filled with dancing, dinner, drinks, a casino, as well as live and silent auctions.
The gala aimed to raise money for global acceptance for those with Down syndrome.
“So our organization is completely free to families,” Jennifer Bustamante, president of GiGi’s Playhouse, said. “There is never a cost barrier, so us raising these funds, the community helps us to support our program and local and individuals with Down syndrome.”
