Four people accused of passing fake $50 bills in Sodus are facing new charges for counterfeit money used in Williamson.

Eighteen-year-old Candice Smith, 20-year-old Essence House, 20-year-old Christopher Sherman, and Arthur Blay were arrested last week after a fake $50 was used at the Dollar General in Sodus.

In that case, deputies responded after the report of the fake bill and found the four suspects not far from the store.

Thursday, deputies say the suspects are also responsible for three other incidents of fake money being used in Wayne County including fake $50s used at Speedy’s Mobile gas station on Route 104 in Sodus along with the Dollar General and Rite Aid in Williamson.

All four are charged with conspiracy and criminal possession of a forged instrument.
