Four people have been arrested after a cocaine bust in Mount Morris.
Sheriff Thomas Dougherty said the four individuals were arrested after deputies, police and FBI members executed two search warrants on Main Street and Chapel Street in the village.
At this time, 18-year-old Yeleskey Soler-Vazquez and 21-year-old Edwin Soler are charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies said the pair may also face charges at the federal level.
The two other suspects were arrested by the FBI and are expected to be charged by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Sheriff Dougherty said the arrests are the result of an 18-month investigation by the Livingston County Drug Task Force. “This is a good day for Mount Morris,” he told members of the media.
The sheriff was unable to further elaborate on the case as the investigation is continuing. News 8 has reached out to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for more information on the bust.
