Former U of R professor wins Nobel Prize in economics

A former professor at the University of Rochester was recently awarded the Nobel Prize in economics.

Paul M. Romer, a professor of economics, was given the distinction along with a professor from Yale University. He remarks that he was not expecting to receive the prize.

Romer was awarded the Nobel Prize for his research on the interplay of climate change and technological innovations with economics.
