Fleet Feet coach dies during Seneca7 race

Running communities in Central New York and the Finger Lakes are mourning after a Syracuse Fleet Feet coach died during the Seneca7 race in Geneva.

Race organizers say Brendan Jackson suffered a “serious medical emergency” during the race.

According to the Fleet Feet website, Jackson had been with Fleet Feet Sports since 2005 and had 30 years experience coaching runners.
