There was a massive police presence in Rochester’s East End early Friday morning – when a fight spilled out into the streets.
Officers were forced to use pepper spray and a taser to get the situation under control.
It happened at 2:00AM – right around the time the bars closed.
Rochester police say they noticed the large fight on their cameras.
When police initially arrived on scene, they say they found multiple groups of people fighting in the street.
More police were called in to break up those fights and the gathering crowds.
The RPD says one person was tased – and taken to the hospital per department protocol.
Pepper spray was used to disperse the crowds.
We’re told a number of people were taken to jail for various public order offenses.
