The FBI has stated that Stephen Paddock, the gunman in the Las Vegas concert attack, had no connection to international terror groups, The Associated Press reported.

The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the Las Vegas mass shooting that killed at least 50 people, but did not provide evidence to support the claim, reports The Associated Press.

The terror group says Stephen Paddock converted to Islam months ago, and  “executed the operation in response to calls to target countries of the coalition,” The AP reported.
