Kids had off school Monday, but it was too cold to enjoy the time off outdoors. Instead, many families decided to stay warm and get a change of scenery at the Rochester Museum and Science Center.
Convicing the kids to stay inside with so much snow outside wasn’t easy at first, said museum-goer and father Chad Barbe.
“They’ve been asking all morning if they could go out and go sledding but we’ve been trying to get them to do other things besides go out in the cold,” Barbe said.
The museum has a lot of interactive exhibits, and some kids were working in them all day long. It’s clear there’s a lot of future scientists and engineers here in Rochester.
