The water main break has been repaired and traffic is back open.
ORIGINAL:
Elmwood Avenue westbound at East Drive, near the University of Rochester Medical Center, is closed as crews deal with a water main break.
Elmwood is closed between Kendrick to East Drive. The hospital says the water main break is not impacting patient care.
People going to the emergency department will be allowed to pass the closure.
