Students of Eastman’s School of Music wanted to put a smile on everyone’s face Saturday.
A quartet of saxophonists played a melody in celebration of the University of Rochester’s 100th Anniversary of Dentistry.
The university’s new SMILEmobile was out offering free cancer screenings.
It’s a great collaboration between the Eastman’s first two schools, oral health & music.
“I think this is a wonderful thing to show, how we can work together under the University of Rochester, and provide services to the community,” said Eli Eliav, director of the Eastman Institute of Oral Health.
The Institute of Oral Health intends to drive the SMILEmobile to group homes, nursing homes, and other areas where patients are unable to travel and directly visit the dentist.
