East Aurora woman arrested for DWI after vehicle mirror hits deputy

DARIEN, N.Y. (WROC-TV) - Genesee County Sheriff's deputies arrested an East Aurora woman for driving while intoxicated in the town of Darien on Saturday.

Deputies say that 33-year-old Genna Miller failed to keep right while an officer was directing traffic in the area of Route 77 and Sumner Road.

Miller drove off the center portion of the lane she was driving in when her vehicle's mirror hit the deputy's arm. She was stopped south of the intersection, according to deputies.

A sobriety test was run on Miller, showing her blood-alcohol content was more than two times the legal limit.

Deputies issued Miller traffic violations.

Miller was charged with aggravated DWI, failure to comply with a police officer, and failure to keep right.

She was directed to appear at the Town of Darien Court on August 21.
