ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC-TV) - Mason Earle pleaded not guilty during a court appearance Thursday.
Earle has been charged with two counts of Murder in the First Degree and one count of Arson in the Third Degree, for the murder of two teenage graduates of Brockport High School.
The bodies of the graduates were found burned, inside a car in Hamlin in September.
Earle was arrested at the end of September, in connection to the homicide.
The Assistant District Attorney said he is confident in the evidence supporting the charges against Earle.
However, Burrow's brother, Shane Cease, believes the claims that drugs were involved are wrong.
"The answers will come out and we will find out what really happened because I don't believe the speculations of what the DA has told me, they paint my brother to be a drug dealer and I don't agree with that, " said Cease.
Earle will continue to be held without bail.
