It seems most drivers have heeded warnings from local leaders Sunday morning.
After inches of snow fell overnight in Rochester, 490 was slippery and snow covered, but pretty much devoid of drivers. Our crews only saw a handful hitting the road this morning.
Things were quiet on other side streets in Rochester as well.
Travel advisories are in place for counties across New York state as this weekend’s snowstorm has left roads slippery and ice covered. Police and county leaders are urging people to stay home and let plow drivers do their jobs.
