PENFIELD, N.Y. (WROC) — A house fire broke out in a Penfield home early Tuesday morning.
What started as a chimney fire, quickly spread to the roof. The Webster Fire Department responded and said because of the 28-foot high wall where the fire was, it was initially difficult to fight, but eventually they put out the fire with no injuries.
All of those who resided in the house were able to get out safely, including a pet.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
