A Sodus man is facing charges after an attack at a state park in June.
Robert Manning is charged with robbery and assault.
On June 6, deputies say he attacked a man with a golf club at Camp Beechwood on Lake Road in Sodus. During the attack, Manning is accused of stealing $120 in cash from the victim. The victim, a 55-year-old man, suffered bruises as a result of the beating.
Manning was arrested early Friday morning during a traffic stop — where deputies also charged him with criminal possession of a weapon after they found a stun gun in his vehicle.
He was arraigned and is now being held in Wayne County Jail.
