Deputies searching for missing adult with special needs

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing vulnerable adult with special needs.

Deputies say 21-year-old Starrlita Smith walked away from a home on Perry Road in Leicester Monday night around 7 p.m.

Smith has special needs and is 5’5″, 120 lbs., with brown eyes and very short brown hair.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a medium pink pullover and white sneakers. She left carrying two blankets with her.

Smith is known to frequent the Greenway Trail, usually the Mt Morris area.

The Sheriff’s Office says it has deployed drones, K-9 units, investigators, and several patrol resources to the area.
