A Franklinville man is accused of stealing a load of items from a Geneseo business.

The Livingston County Sheriff says deputies were called last week for the theft at the Tractor Supply in Geneseo for the theft.

Deputies say 55-year-old Salvator Faliero walked out of the store with $1,500 worth of merchandise without paying and drove away. According to the sheriff’s office, Faliero’s vehicle was spotted and stopped on Mount Morris Road by SUNY Geneseo Police. Officers say they found the stolen items were still in his vehicle.

Faliero was arrested after deputies arrived at the scene. He is charged with grand larceny.

Due to past felonies, Faliero was ordered to be held in Livingston County Jail without bail.
