Deputies ID trucker killed in accident behind Victor Home Depot

Local News

VICTOR, NY (WROC) — Deputies have released the identity of the truck driver who died during an accident at the loading dock of the Home Depot near Eastview Mall in Victor.

Investigators say 65-year-old Brian Perry, of Kirkwood, had finished making his delivery Wednesday afternoon around 4 p.m. and was inspecting his tractor-trailer when he was killed.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, it appears that Perry was underneath the trailer, trying to make an adjustment to his rear tires. But, sadly, at some point, the trailer shifted and Perry became pinned between the bed, trailer, and tire.

The sheriff has ruled the death an accident.
