A damaged tree at Durand Eastman park has many people thinking that the legendary White Lady is making an appearance. 

The tree is not very far from where the White Lady’s Castle is located in Irondequoit. 

The story goes that the White Lady spent her life searching for her daughter after her daughter never came home from a walk along the lake. It’s said that on misty nights, she’d glide over the lake, all in white, glided over the waves.
