Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day: Buy a Blizzard to help Golisano Children’s Hospital

Local News

Buy a Blizzard from a participating Dairy Queen on Thursday and you can make a difference in a child’s life.

Miracle Treat Day is July 27 — it’s a great way to beat the heat and help area hospitals in the Children’s Miracle Network.

For every Blizzard sold at local Dairy Queen locations, $1 will be donated to Golisano Children’s Hospital. Participating locations include Dewey Avenue in Greece, Jefferson Road in Henrietta, and Hard Road in Webster.

“When you go to the hospital and you see the staff and you see the kids and you see the passion and have the ability to give back to the community — truly there is no better,” said Mark Goldberg, the owner of Dairy Queen in Henrietta.

Rochester locations alone have raised over $100,000 for Golisano Children’s Hospital. Donations made across the country in support of Miracle Treat Day stay in the communities where they are raised to help local kids.
