Cornhole Tournament to benefit The West Irondequoit Foundation

32 teams participated Friday night in the first annual West Irondequoit Foundation Cornhole Tournament.

The foundation provides funding to develop programs in the West Irondequoit Central School District.

Friday night’s tournament was held at the St. Paul Firemen’s Exempt Club on Thomas Avenue. The cost was $100 per team and the winning team received $1,000.

The foundation says it raised more than $15,000 from the event, including business sponsors.
