Developers confirm Conduent, the company created when Xerox split in two, will move its call center from Webster into the Medley Centre in Irondequoit this fall.
Flaum Development confirms it is leasing the former Macy’s store site to Conduent.
The move will result in 350 jobs being retained and 400 new jobs.
In a statement from Empire State Development this week, the press secretary said that the State is reviewing tax break options for Conduent:
“ESD is currently reviewing the status of all potential benefits going forward that might result from previous incentive offers to Xerox Commercial Services now that it has moved under Conduent. As always, continuation of any incentives will require all job commitments to be maintained or exceeded.”
