District officials in Honeoye Falls-Lima are warning parents about unlawful access to its computer system.
According to the district, on September 19, officials discovered someone had accessed an administrative account on the Schooltool student information management system.
Officials say while the system was accessed, it doesn’t appear any records were changed.
In response, the district changed all staff passwords and launched an investigation into the incident.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, which is also running a criminal investigation into the case, reports that it’s not clear if any data was exposed.
