Closing arguments for Partick Brooks, the man accused of murdering his wife and daughter were cut short at the Hall of Justice when the court room went dark on Monday.
Attorneys tried to move forward until fire alarms caused them to evacuate.
Brooks is facing second degree murder charges.
Police believe Brooks killed his wife Christie and 18-year-old daughter Victoria, in their home on Wellington Avenue.
Closing arguments are scheduled to pick back up Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m.
