Set up is underway for the Hillary for New York primary watch party in New York City.
Clinton refers to New York as her home state, and when voting earlier on Tuesday, she made sure to remind voters of that. While upstate NY is a virtual tie in the polls, Clinton is in NYC, hoping to celebrate a primary win here again.
For the Clinton camp, New York is theirs to lose. Most recent polls show Clinton with a double digit lead in the Empire State over her opponent, Bernie Sanders.
However, Sanders clearly has some grassroots momentum here, with rallies of up to 25,000 attendees just this weekend. Sanders is also coming off a string of caucus and primary wins in several Western states.
Experts agree that Clinton needs a big double digit win here, so she can gain as many delegates as possible to further her lead over Sanders.
The crowd is supposed to pack in later in the evening, and there could be some big names in attendance. Governor Andrew Cuomo and NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio have been heavily campaigning for Clinton ahead of this evening.
