Some homeowners in Seneca County might not be able to move back for at least a year, due to flood damage. State Police and firefighters discussed cleanup plans on Wednesday morning.
Two boats are on Seneca Lake cleaning up debris. Crews will also bring heavy machinery to remove trees and other large objects on the roads. It could take several days, and possibly weeks, for roads to be repaired.
Emergency management officials are escorting people back to their homes.
