Cindy Stowell winning streak on Jeopardy ends Wednesday night

Local News
The world cheered on cancer patient Cindy Stowell as she wrapped up a winning streak on the game show Jeopardy! on Wednesday night.
Stowell won six consecutive games, winning a total of $105,803.
Stowell was battling stage four colon cancer while taping the show, and died just before the episodes began airing late last week.
Jeopardy! sent advance copies of Stowell’s first three episodes to her, so she and her family could watch her realize her lifelong dream of competing on the show.
After the show on Wednesday, host Alex Trebek paid tribute to her.
Stowell donated her winnings to cancer research.
