A dresser is being recalled after it was discovered the units are unstable if not anchored to the wall, posing a serious tip-over and entrapment hazard resulting in injuries or death to children.

The Bolton Furniture two over two style four-door dressers affected include models Cambridge, Emma, Essex, Wakefield, and Woodridge. The dressers were sold in a number of wood finishes.

The company has not received any reports of tip-overs or injuries from the affected units.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dresser if it’s not anchored, and place it in an area children cannot access.

Bolton is providing a free retrofit kit to anchor the dresser. Bolton will also provide a one-time, free in-home installation.

Consumers can contact the company at 1-800-545-8982 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or at boltonfurniture.biz.

The dressers were sold at Full Line Furniture and children’s specialty stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Overstock.com, Target.com, ToysRUs.com, Wayfair.com, Zulilly.com and other online retailers from February 2011 to October 2016 for about $700.
