The New York State Complete Count Commission is in Rochester for a meeting on the 2020 Census.
Its goal is to make sure every New Yorker is counted on next year’s census. The commission will hold six public hearings across the state to gain public input and hear from census experts and advocates.
The meetings come as immigration advocates fight against the addition of a citizenship question to the census.
You can weigh in at the public hearing beginning at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon in the Rochester City Council chambers.
