Brockport Police make arrest after following footprints in the snow

The Brockport Police Department has reported that while on patrol during the early morning hours of December 13, officers observed footprints in the snow going up to vehicles and across front yards.

Officers say they began following the tracks that lead to approximately 53 vehicles.

Following their investigation, officers say they arrested 21-year-old Zachary Sikula of Brockport.

Police say Sikula was charged with 2 Counts of Petit Larceny (A Misdemeanor), 1 Count of Attempted Petit Larceny (B Misdemeanor), and 3 Counts of Criminal Tampering 3rd Degree (B Misdemeanor).

Residents of the northeast quadrant of the Village are being asked to check their vehicles and contact the Brockport Police Department to report any suspicious activity or missing items.
