Brockport Police have identified a suspect in a home invasion that occurred earlier this month – and they’re asking for the public’s help finding him.
On December 5, Brockport police responded to reports of a robbery at a college rental property.
They say an armed man, who has been identified as Edward A. Pearce, 21, of Rochester forced his way into the home and demanded money.
After a physical altercation, Pearce fled. Police later located his weapon, which was an air-soft gun that resembled a semi-automatic pistol.
Brockport Police have obtained an arrest warrant for charges of second degree burglary, second degree attempted robbery, menacing, and criminal mischief.
Anyone with information should contact the Brockport Police Department or 911. Citizens may remain anonymous, and information that leads to an arrest may be entitled to a cash reward.
