Brighton senior living community gives back to first responders

Local News

St. John’s Meadows Senior Living Community in Brighton showed their appreciation for local first responders on Wednesday morning.

Residents and staff delivered pizza and assorted desserts to members of the Brighton Police Department and Brighton Ambulance.

St. John’s says it was their way of saying thank you to the first responders that help them out when they’re in need.

“They are our first responders for our residents, if they get in trouble or have some issues, so this is our way of saying thank you to the police department here,” said Paul Bartlett, vice president for senior housing at St. John’s. “We’re delivering some good lunch for them and we’re just enjoying our partnership with them.”

The Meadows kitchen baked the cookies and brownies that were delivered. Saint John’s serves more than 1,000 elders and their families annually.
