Boyfriend arrested for fatal stabbing of woman on Caroline St.

ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - Rochester police have arrested a man for the stabbing death of his girlfriend last week in Rochester.

Officers say Robert Norry, age 32, stabbed 31-year-old Kelly O'May in their apartment on Caroline Street. O'May's body was found early Friday morning by family members who went to check on her after she hadn't been heard from for about a day.

After the stabbing, police say Norry left the state in his vehicle and drove to the west coast.

Norry was arrested after his vehicle was spotted in Spokane, Washington. In Spokane, Rochester police questioned Norry about the case then charged him with murder.

They are now working to transport him back to Rochester.

Saturday, friends told News 8 that O'May worked at Sirens and Stilettos Cabaret.

A candlelight vigil will be held for O'May this Wednesday at 8 p.m. at 224 Caroline Street.
