Boston-bound flight returns to Buffalo airport after bird strike

A flight that was bound for Boston had to turn around and head back to the Buffalo Niagara International Airport Thursday morning.

According to the NFTA, a JetBlue plane struck a bird about 10 minutes into the flight.

Following this, the plane safely returned to the airport around 6:15 a.m.
