The Wayne Central School District says a student brought at BB gun into the middle school on Tuesday.
According to a spokesperson for the district, staff became aware of the BB gun when another student reported it to them.
The gun was not loaded and did not have a CO2 cartridge. The spokesperson added that students and staff were never at risk.
Disciplinary action has been taken.
