ATF offers $5K in search for Geneseo manhunt suspect

GENESEO, NY (WROC) - The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted in Geneseo.

David Clyde Morgan hasn't been seen since a traffic stop on Route 63 in Geneseo in July. During the stop, police said Morgan pulled a gun, pointed it at the officer and then ran into a wooded area in the ensuing chaos.

Last month, search crews returned to the woods near Route 63 to look for Morgan; deputies said it was possible he may be dead.

Now, ATF is offering $5,000 for information that leads to his arrest and capture.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact ATF at 1-888-ATF-TIPS (888-283-8477), email ATFTips@atf.gov, or online.
