Jimmy Page, Jimmy Hendrix, Sting. Yep, Bruce Pilato has met them.
George Harrison. Yep, Bruce Pilato has interviewed him.
Ringo, ELP and Asia. Yep, Bruce Pilato has managed their tours.
Since his father began getting him backstage during concerts at Rochester’s War Memorial, Pilato has devoted himself to music.
His career began as a journalist, but morphed into music management.
The work would carry him into the music world’s epicenter, but would never pull him away from his hometown of Rochester.
It’s here, as board member, Pilato has helped turn the Rochester Music Hall of Fame ceremonies into the highly-produced shows they are today.
His decades in the business have provided enough music memorabilia to fill a museum and enough stories to fill a book, which he’s now doing.
The book due out is called Feedback – One Man’s Journey Through the History of Rock N Roll.
Many of those stories stem from his role as a voting member of the Grammy Awards.
He interviewed with Adam after from returning from LA following the big party last weekend.
